216 Dreams is the double-edged unflinching expansion of my descent into the shared human subconscious—twice the number, twice the strangeness, and twice the intensity. Where 108 Dreams revealed the fractured mirror of our nightly journeys, 216 Dreams plunges deeper into the shadows and brilliance of the human psyche, bringing the abstract vividly to life through unnerving illustrations that blur the line between dream and nightmare.Each subconscious vignette fractures into its own unstable zone where logic fails and emotion misbehaves. Tragedy curdles into humor, beauty turns hostile, and tenderness arrives with something wrong attached to it. These are not stories so much as intrusions—images and moments that linger, unsettle, and refuse logical resolution. Taken together, they chart the dark inner dream atlas of fear, desire, grief, shame, loss, and endurance all quietly grinding against one another.Illustrations for this book were created through a hybrid process that combines AI image generation and traditional digital editing. Using various tools, including NightCafe AI, ChatGPT, and Photoshop, the images were developed iteratively—generated, curated, and composited by me. This approach grows out of my established art practice; my AI-assisted artwork has been exhibited professionally and I have a permanent public art installation in Washington State. Read more
